Golden Eagle and White Tailed Sea Eagle

Alladale has been home to a breeding pair of Golden Eagle’s for several years. Pairing for life and with an average lifespan of 23 years, the pair has raised several chicks at Alladale.

By the end of 2019, the pair was joined by a White Tailed Sea Eagle. Clearly looking for its own territory, this quite large individual (as seen in the video) is visiting Alladale on a regular basis. Our team is collaborating with the Roy Dennis Wildlife Foundation and Mossy Earth to provide the right nesting conditions for the animal, in the hopes for it to settle permanently and perhaps even find a mate one day.
